About this file

This is a Statewide Document Destruction and Disposal Services solicitation issued on behalf of various state agencies throughout Missouri. The solicitation seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive document destruction and disposal services to support multiple state agencies' records management needs. The scope of work includes secure document destruction, disposal of confidential materials, and compliance with state and federal regulations regarding document handling and data protection. The contract is structured to serve as a statewide cooperative agreement, allowing eligible state agencies to utilize the awarded vendor's services on an as-needed basis. Specific response dates, due dates, and award timelines should be referenced within the detailed solicitation documents, along with any required pre-bid meetings or site visits that may have been scheduled to familiarize bidders with operational requirements and agency locations.

The pricing structure for this contract will be determined through the competitive bidding process, with vendors expected to provide detailed cost proposals for destruction and disposal services, potentially including per-unit pricing or volume-based rates. The contract may include set-asides for minority-owned, women-owned, or small businesses in accordance with Missouri procurement preferences. Funding for services will be distributed among the participating state agencies based on their utilization of the awarded vendor's services, with individual agency budgets supporting their respective destruction and disposal expenses. The contract term and any renewal options should be specified in the full solicitation documents, which will outline the total contract value, service performance standards, and compliance requirements for handling sensitive state records and data security protocols.

All vendors will be advised of any change to the RFP’s language, specifications, or requirements by a formal amendment to the RFP.
