About this file

This is an attachment to a statewide document destruction and disposal services solicitation issued on behalf of various state agencies throughout Missouri. The document specifies acceptable materials for mixed office paper destruction services, including white and colored paper products of all grades, cardstock, copier paper, computer paper, fax paper, ledger paper, NCR carbonless forms, road maps, and all envelope types with or without adhesive labels, plastic windows, or stamps. Additionally acceptable materials include adding machine tape, Post-it notes, manila file folders, printer paper ream wrappers, shredded paper in bags, books and bound materials regardless of binding quality, newsprint publications including newspapers, telephone books, and state statute books, glossy and coated papers such as magazines, catalogs, junk mail, sales literature, brochures, and calendars.

The attachment also permits non-paper items commonly associated with office documents to be included in the destruction process, specifically paper clips, staples, spiral bindings, GBC plastic comb bindings, and rubber bands. This comprehensive list establishes the scope of materials acceptable under the mixed office paper category for the statewide document destruction and disposal services contract, providing clear guidance to potential vendors on what materials they must be capable of processing and destroying in compliance with the solicitation requirements.
