About this file
This is a technical engineering drawing for a NASA Floor Beam Diagonal component, prepared by the Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) in Edwards, California. The drawing details a structural component made from steel, specifically using ASTM A36 and ASTM A500B materials, with precise dimensional specifications and manufacturing requirements. Key technical notes include surface finish requirements (125 microinches max), welding specifications per American Welding Society standards, and coating instructions involving an epoxy primer and polyurethane topcoat in OSHA Safety Blue. The drawing includes an isometric view, detailed sections, and a parts list specifying three primary components: an end plate for the beam, an end plate for the floor, and a 7x5x0.313 hollow structural section (HSS) diagonal. The document is marked as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) with an export classification of EAR99/NLR, indicating it can be shared with appropriate restrictions.

STUPID CREO WOULD NOT LET ME CREATE A INTERMITTENT WELD HERE
(LOWER WELD ON VERTICAL PLATE) PROBABLY BECAUSE OF THE MOUSE
