About this file

This is a Bid Tabulation document from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for Emergency Service Patrol services on Route 29 for North/South locations on an as-needed basis. The bid opening occurred on March 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with bids posted for public review from March 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. through March 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Three vendors submitted bids for the contract: Eastern Diesel Auto Wrecker Service at $150.00, Mallory Towing & Recovery, Inc. at $173.50, and White's Wrecker Service, LLC at $140.00. The tabulation indicates an apparent award to White's Wrecker Service, LLC as the lowest responsive bidder, though no binding contract exists until formal acceptance and issuance of a Purchase Order by the Department.

The Department reserves the right to reject the award and proceed to the second-lowest bidder if irregularities are discovered in the apparent awardee's bid submission or if the vendor fails to submit required bonds, insurance, or otherwise fails to comply with bid requirements. The award determination was evaluated by Chad Williams and witnessed by Karen Woodham. In-State Preference provisions under Florida Statutes Section 287.084 were applied in the award determination process. The Department maintains discretion to award to the second-lowest responsive bidder, reject all bids, or take other actions deemed in the best interest of the Department if the apparent awardee cannot meet contractual obligations or required documentation standards.
