About this file

This is a Bid Tabulation document prepared by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for Emergency Service Patrol services on Route 25 for North and South locations. The solicitation, issued as Invitation to Bid (ITB) Number DOT-ITB-26-3012-CS, sought qualified vendors to provide emergency incident management and traffic control operations on an as-needed basis. The bid opening occurred on March 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with the bid posting period extending from March 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. through March 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Three vendors submitted bids for consideration during this procurement cycle.

Three bidders participated in the competitive process, with Eastern Diesel Auto Wrecker Service submitting a bid of $150.00, Garrett's Automotive, Inc. submitting $285.00, and White's Wrecker Service, LLC submitting $140.00. White's Wrecker Service, LLC was selected as the intended award recipient at the lowest bid price of $140.00. The award determination was evaluated by Chad Williams and was not contingent upon in-state preference provisions under Florida Statutes Section 287.084. The document explicitly notes that the intended award does not constitute a binding contract until formal Purchase Order or written acceptance by the Department is issued, and the Department reserves the right to reject all bids or award to the second-lowest bidder if the selected vendor fails to submit required bonds and insurance documentation or otherwise fails to comply with bid requirements.
