About this file
This document is a Solicitation Opening Certification and Minutes for a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the City of Sanford, Florida's Purchasing Division for Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) Continuing Contracts, solicitation number 24/25-09. The solicitation was opened on 01/16/2025 at 2:00 PM in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, with multiple construction and contracting firms submitting responses, including DTA Construction Group Inc., Johnson-Lane Construction LLC, Charles Perry Partners Inc., Ovation Construction, and Kiewit Infrastructure. The RFQ seeks construction management services for projects with budgets under $5,000,000, with responsibilities including preconstruction services, value engineering, cost analysis, scheduling evaluations, subcontractor bidding and contracting, work coordination, and project supervision.
The document indicates that the solicitation was processed according to Florida Statutes, with sealed proposals exempt from public disclosure until an intended decision is provided or 30 days after opening. No bid amounts were recorded, suggesting this was a qualifications-based selection process. The opening was conducted by Purchasing Coordinators Chase Kaiser and Frank Mascola, who certified that no other business was conducted, no discussions occurred, and no input was received from attendees. The solicitation documents were available for viewing and downloading at www.myvendorlink.com, and the process followed City of Sanford Procurement Procedure 6-500 for RFQ submissions.
