About this file
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) #26-165 issued by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in New York for a comprehensive continuous patient monitoring system. The RFP seeks an integrated telemetry and patient monitoring solution that supports physiologic monitoring across inpatient care areas and integrates with the facility's existing EHR system, Altera Sunrise Clinical Manager, and clinical communication platforms. The proposed solution must include bedside physiological monitoring for 140 monitored beds across nine inpatient nursing units, with each bedside monitor capable of continuous monitoring of Masimo SET SpO2, respiration rate, noninvasive blood pressure, temperature, and 5-lead ECG, preferably with larger display screens. The solution must also provide telemetry monitoring capabilities for up to 32 telemetry patients using portable transmitters or wearable monitoring devices, centralized monitoring stations for each nursing unit supporting continuous surveillance and alarm management, and mobile alarm notification capabilities. Vendors may propose an integrated platform combining bedside and telemetry monitoring or separate solutions that collectively meet all requirements.
The RFP requires portable or patient-worn monitoring options that maintain continuity of monitoring during patient ambulation and transport, as well as centralized telemetry monitoring stations capable of monitoring up to 32 patients simultaneously across multiple nursing units with dedicated telemetry views. The specific details regarding pricing terms, set-asides, response due dates, site visit requirements, bidder's conference information, award dates, and contract term are not fully detailed in the available documentation, though the RFP references supporting exhibits and addendums that may contain additional specifications and contractual requirements.
