About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a solicitation for containerized housing units. The solicitation is seeking three housing units with black-out removable window screens and wired fire alarms that sound in all three units if one alarm is triggered. The additional two housing units would need to extend power from the main distribution panel approximately 60-70 feet and 120-140 feet in total. The related federal contract opportunity notice amends the solicitation to extend the response deadline to April 20, 2020 due to additional requirements in the statement of objectives dated April 6, 2020.

Questions
Question 1: Is there any additional info on 2.3.1 (window shutters)? There are many options, could you please provide an example of what is expected?
Government Response: The 353rd would like a functional windows with black-out screens (removable if possible)
Question 2: I am assuming fire detector is an actual fire alarm, and not just a smoke detector. Any specs on fire alarm requirements?
Government Response: The 353rd would like the fire alarms/detectors wired in series (if possible) therefore if one fire alarm sounds the other 2 will alarm in the unit. If that option is not possible the alarm/detector should audible to where it can be heard in all 3 units.
Question 3: How far away are the additional 2 units that would need to extend from main power distribution panel?
Government Response: approximately 60’-70’ for each…120’-140’ total.
