About this file
This document is a guidance manual for ordering products under Wisconsin state contract 505ENT-M22-WICOMPUTER-00, which covers computer hardware procurement through multiple authorized vendors. The participating contractors include Paragon Development Systems Inc. (HP products), Vanguard Computers Inc. and Vanguard Storage and Recovery (HP and Lenovo products), Insight Public Sector Inc. (Lenovo products), and Dell Marketing LP (Dell products). Each vendor serves Wisconsin state agencies, municipalities, and the University of Wisconsin system with specific account setup procedures and customer support contacts.
The contract encompasses computer hardware including workstations, monitors, warranties, accessories, and peripherals from major manufacturers HP, Lenovo, and Dell. Pricing structure varies by vendor, with some offering standard configurations at contracted prices and others providing percentage discounts off manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP). Ordering methods include online portals for Paragon Development Systems, Insight Public Sector, and Dell, while Vanguard companies prefer email or phone orders with a website launching May 31, 2024. Value-added services such as installation and support are available at contracted hourly rates or per-unit charges. The document notes that Dell's offerings may overlap with their existing NASPO contract 505ENT-O24-NASPOCOMPUT-03 already available through WISBuy, providing agencies with multiple purchasing options for Dell products.
