Question # Question Answer
In the Scheduled Maintenance Plan (SMP) there should be tasks defined as
Depot Level Requirements, can NAVAIR send the P-8A Depot Level requirements from the SMP, we can make assumptions based on the
Periodic Maintenance Information Card (PMIC) intervals, what may fall due during the AEPD 1 and AEPD 2 inspections, and have done so but, to better refine the Depot Level Requirements and TAT it would be helpful to ascertain the proper requirements at the Depot Level.
The Depot Spec Attachment 5 Appendixes Identify the Task Cards to be performed during the Depot event (AEPD 1 or 2). The Task cards provide a detailed description of what is to be accomplished for each task during the Depot event. The PMIC identifies conditional inspections requirements and scheduled removal Items. Scheduled removal Items with a MAINTENANCE LEVEL / SKILL CODE of 3 will be completed in the DEPOT. Currently the only requirements for schedule removals are under, Fire Protection ATA 26 (WUC 49) to Remove and replace squibs at 10 years. Landing Gear ATA 32 (WUC 13) MAINTENANCE LEVEL / SKILL CODE of 3 is being changed to MAINTENANCE
LEVEL / SKILL CODE of 1. Contractors should disregard any landing gear schedule removal and replacement.
Does NAVAIR have a pre-weigh checklist for the P-8A, this may include equipment to be removed and or to ensure it is installed and the number required. We did receive the weight and balance manual and understand the requirements contained within, but it still does not contain the aircraft configuration requirements. Can NAVAIR send out the aircraft configuration requirements for weigh.
There is no current pre-weigh checklist for the P-8A. The configuration for weighing the aircraft is based on the incoming Chart "A"& "C"
Inventories and the NA-01-1B-50. The USG will provide Automated Weight and Balance Software (AWBS)to the Awardees

In the stand alone proposals the Executive Summary Suggested Page Count is 10, however this amount is not increased for the Combined Proposal, will
NAVAIR consider increasing the page count for the Combined Executive
Summary?
The page count is just a suggestion. There are no issues with exceeding the suggested page count.
