NRC/FSF Records Operations Support Services (ROSS) Re-compete Answers to Industry Questions

HSSCCG-14-R-00021

No. Comment/Question USCIS RESPONSE 1 Is there a CAD file available for the area? Posted two CAD files to FBO, CIS4077 elevation-step surveyr14.dwg;

REVISED PLAN -NORTH WALL CORRECTION 3.25.16.dwg

2 What is the percentage of self performing for this proposal? This requirement is being solicited as a full and open requirement. In the coming days it is my intent to issue an amendment to update and remove clause 52.219-14.

3 If the average ceiling height is 15’0” and sprinklers need to be 18” min from shelving, are we to limit shelving to a 13’6” height max?

Object is to maximize shelving capacity as well as to adapt to variations in ceiling heights. Variations are in general areas and not piecemeal.

4 At the three locations that have step downs – can the these areas be treated as three distinct and separate mezzanines not requiring the areas to be inter-connected?

Preference is for interconnectivity as conditions and design allow.

5 Can installation start in any area of the building or is there a pre-defined start location?

Predefined; North and South, working toward the middle.

6 Will any portions of the building with shelving be turned over prior to the completion of the entire installation?

No.

7 Is it possible this could be a set aside? The requirement is not a set aside. The government market research did not indicate that this requirement was viable as a small business set aside.
