About this file

This file is a procedural guide document issued by the City of Minneapolis for suppliers seeking to bid on public contracting events through the eSupplier platform. The document provides step-by-step instructions for vendors to access bidding opportunities, review event details and bid packages, and submit competitive bids. While the guide does not specify particular products, services, quantities, response deadlines, or contract terms for individual opportunities, it establishes the operational framework through which the City of Minneapolis posts and manages its public procurement events. Suppliers must first access the eSupplier public home page, navigate to the Public Events tab to view available opportunities, and review all associated bid package documents before proceeding with submission.

The bidding process requires suppliers to complete required fields marked with red asterisks, respond to event-specific questions, upload any necessary supporting documentation, enter unit bid prices, and submit bids through the platform. The document does not address pricing structures, set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or other financial and contractual terms, as it functions solely as a procedural reference guide rather than a specific solicitation or opportunity announcement. Suppliers receive confirmation of bid submission via email notification, establishing a documented record of their participation in the City of Minneapolis procurement process.
