All potential offerors will have an opportunity to submit questions once the solicitation for this requirement has been issued. However, in the interim, please feel free to add your company’s information to the Interested Vendors List.

DoDEA Pacific Procurement intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) within 45 days of this notice to award a firm fixed price requirements contract to obtain an adequate follow-on commercial digital camera system for surveillance for school buses operating in the DoDEA

Pacific Korea district. Requirements include a passive GPS system, solid state system design with SD card memory, color night vision for the cameras, noise cancelling audio, and erratic driver sensor in addition to multiple bus camera views for the cameras. The period of performance shall be a base period of one (1) year plus four 1 year options thereafter, with a start date of 23 June 2014 – 22 June 2015 (base period with four 12-month option periods). The option periods are designed to provide an as needed basis, on-site maintenance, sustainment, and additional installation support to the OBVSS systems after initial installation.

This is a competitive acquisition in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 – Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and provides the "Best Value" to the Government, price, technical and past performance factors considered.
