(End of Summary of Changes)

The following items are applicable to this modification:

AMENDMENT 0003

The purpose of this Amendment is to provide answers from the Government to questions submitted by vendors.

Below are the Questions and Answers:

1. The PWS does not provide an inventory or manufacturer of fire alarm related devices and monitoring (annunciating) systems. Will DDESS provide this information so an accurate price can be developed and the most appropriate expertise can be procured?

Answer:

The fire alarm system is EST III (Edward Systems Technology) on the fire alarm panel. Not sure about the other devices, however the contractor may request a visit to the site to view the fire alarm devices and system.

2. The last amendment provided the name of the current fire suppression system vendor. However there was no company name provided for its current fire monitoring systems vendor. Can DDESS provide the name of the current fire monitoring system vendor?

Answer:

DZSP 21 performs maintenance/repair on the system and if beyond their capabilities, Phoenix Pacific will take over.

3. Please provide the quantities and sizes of the current grease traps for each school.

Answer: All the schools have grease traps.

1 each at Andersen Schools by delivery bay/cafeteria……..1500 gal 1 each at Guam High School by delivery bay/cafeteria……..1500 gal 1 each at McCool E/M School by delivery bay/cafeteria……..1500 gal

Be advised we have sediment/solid traps by that service all Art rooms

4. The listing of current vendors was released through the last amendment. Will it be acceptable to submit alternate vendors based on current relationships and familiarity with working on base?

Answer:

Based on our experience, DoDEA has identified vendors that we’ve dealt with in the past that we have had good past performance as far as service, response and reliability. However, you may submit of alternate vendors but please keep in mind the Government reserves the right to perform past performance checks on any subcontractors submitted by the offeror.

5. Can DDESS provide the equipment manufacturer and systems information for the school's Public Address and Communications systems (to include clocks)? Also can DDESS provide the name of the current vendor servicing the system(s)?
