SPEAR Soft Armor Ballistic Inserts Solicitation Q&A Set 7
11 May 2017
Q1: In Section M.2.2.3.1 TEP, a TEP will be calculated for evaluation purposes. In the table that follows in this section, the CLINs do not match the item descriptions (as set forth in Section B). For example, CLIN X005 in Section B refers to an MBAV S-M; in the TEP table, CLIN X005 refers to a SPEAR Plate Shaped, Size Small. Do the estimated quantities over 5 years (column 3 in the table) match the item description or the CLIN? (For example, is the estimated quantity of Small SPEAR plates 1,000? Or is the estimated quantity of CLIN X005 MBAV S-M 1000?)
A1: Solicitation section M.2.2.3.1 TEP will be corrected within Amendment 06 to match the CLIN structure within Section B of the solicitation.
Q2: Understanding that the due date is 5/15 at 9 am is it possible for me to have our response sent for Saturday delivery to reduce the risk of not delivering on time on Monday morning if I cannot get it out today?
A2: No, the Government will not accept deliveries on weekends.
