About this file
This document is an Addendum Number 1 for the Genesee Intermediate School District's (GISD) GenNET Surveillance Camera Request for Proposals (RFP), dated July 7, 2025. The RFP solicits equipment pricing for surveillance cameras, with the bid date remaining unchanged at July 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. The addendum addresses five vendor questions about the procurement, clarifying that GISD is seeking a master list of equipment pricing that local districts can potentially utilize, with no requirement to bid on all camera licensing options.
The key details reveal that GISD is not seeking a standardized camera solution across all local districts, as each district currently has its own internal standardization. The RFP is focused solely on camera equipment pricing, with optional installation costs permitted. Vendors are invited to bid on any cameras from the list and can include additional camera models and manufacturers. The district is not currently looking to integrate additional systems like 2-way radio, access control, or mass notification, and no virtual pre-bid meeting will be held. The pricing submitted will create a price list that local districts can potentially use for future camera purchases.

Genesee Intermediate School District GenNET Surveillance Camera RFP
Addendum Number 1 dated July 7, 2025

Proposals remains unchanged, July 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. All other terms and conditions of the bid shall remain in full force and effect.
Questions
1. Is there a particular reason why Genesee County School District purchased a handful of mix camera solutions, rather than standardizing on a single solution?
a. The pricing submitted goes onto a price list that any of our local districts can use to purchase cameras. Most of the local districts are standardized internally on one solution, but that solution isn’t the same from district to district.
2. Will GISD integrate 2-way radio, access control, or mass notification systems into their camera solution?
a. At this time we’re just looking for camera pricing.
3. Will there be a virtual pre-bid meeting?
a. No virtual meeting will be held.
4. Is it the intention for GISD to receive equipment purchase pricing only? You are looking for a master list of equipment pricing from which GISD can purchase the equipment from individually? These are equipment costs without installation.
a. Yes, we are just looking for equipment pricing. You can include optional installation costs if you would like.
5. Is it required to bid all camera licensing options?
a. No, you can bid on any cameras on the list. You can also include any additional camera models and manufacturers.
