About this file
This is a contractor deliverables document issued by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) Gaylord Field Office for a survey retracement project on existing DNR lands. The primary deliverables include working AutoCAD drawings to be submitted five business days before final staking that identify conflicting ground evidence and compare historical versus modern measurements; two signed and stamped final maps (one on 4 mil mylar) with associated AutoCAD files; a least squares adjustment report at 95% confidence with error ellipses on all control points and government corners; field notes; monumentation consisting of stamped 2-inch aluminum caps on 5/8-inch by 34-inch iron rebars at all Land Corner Records Commission (LCRC) recorded boundary points following 2009 Bureau of Land Management marking standards; copies of recorded LCRC documents for all state boundary corners; blue composite posts at 1-foot offsets on state land at all state boundary corners; blazed and painted witness trees on state land; and coordinate files in both State Plane (CSV format) and latitude/longitude (CSV format) with associated printed copies. All deliverables should be submitted to Carl Kiiskila at the MDNR Gaylord Field Office.
The document specifies that survey caps and composite posts will be supplied by the Department of Natural Resources, and the MDNR reserves the right to adjust the number of 1/16 corners set and recorded as needed. The contractor must ensure minimum redundancy on all adjustment points from independent control points and provide documentation of all monumentation and survey work performed. No pricing information, set-asides, contract term, or funding details are specified in this deliverables document.
