About this file
This is a contractor deliverables document from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) Gaylord Field Office outlining survey work requirements for project FM-22-18. The contractor must provide a working AutoCAD drawing five business days before final staking that documents conflicting evidence, historical versus modern measurements, and multiple monumentation. Final deliverables include two signed and stamped 8" x 14" copies of the finished survey (one on 4 mil mylar), AutoCAD files, a least squares adjustment report with 95% confidence error ellipses and minimum redundancy on all adjustment points, field notes, and coordinate files in both State Plane (CSV format with Northing, Easting, Elevation, and Description) and latitude/longitude formats (CSV format with Latitude, Longitude, Height, and Description). Monumentation requirements specify 2" aluminum caps on 5/8" x 34" iron rebar at all LCRC recorded boundary points, stamped per the 2009 BLM manual of instructions. All remonumented and rewitnessed government corners and 1/16 corners used as control or angle points must be recorded with the LCRC, with witness trees on state land blazed and painted, and blue composite posts placed at 1-foot offsets at state boundary corners (or appropriate offsets if corners fall in traveled roadways).
No pricing terms, funding amounts, set-asides, or contract duration information is provided in this deliverables document. The contact for submission is Carl Kiiskila at the MDNR Gaylord Field Office, reachable at 989-732-3541 extension 5463 or kiiskilac@Michigan.gov. Survey caps and composite posts are to be supplied by the Department of Natural Resources.
