About this file
This is a contractor deliverables document for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) Gaylord Field Office outlining requirements for survey work on existing DNR lands. The project requires delivery of a working AutoCAD drawing five business days before final staking that identifies conflicting ground evidence, compares historical and modern measurements, and documents multiple monumentation. The final deliverables include two signed and stamped copies of large format section retracement drawings (one on 4 mil mylar), AutoCAD files, a least squares adjustment report with 95% confidence error ellipses on all control and boundary monuments with minimum redundancy from independent control points, and field notes. Monumentation requirements specify stamped 2-inch aluminum caps on 5/8-inch by 34-inch iron rebars at all LCRC recorded boundary points following 2009 BLM corner marking standards. Additional deliverables include recorded LCRC copies for all state boundary corners, blue composite posts at one-foot offsets on state land, blazed and painted witness trees, locations of wood lath or posts on state boundary lines if required, and coordinate files in both state plane and latitude/longitude CSV formats with point names, coordinates, elevations, and descriptions.
The document does not specify pricing terms, set-asides, incumbency status, funding sources, or contract duration. Deliverables should be submitted to Carl Kiiskila at the MDNR Gaylord Field Office (Phone: 989-732-3541 extension 5463; email: kiiskilac@Michigan.gov). The MDNR reserves the right to adjust the number of 1/16 corners set and recorded as needed. Survey caps and composite posts will be supplied by the Department of Natural Resources.
