About this file

This document is Amendment No. 41 to a contract between the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADC) and The GEO Group, Inc., for the operation of minimum security prison beds at the Kingman facility. The amendment is part of Contract AD9-010-A3-001 / CTR039494, involving the management and staffing of a correctional facility in Arizona.

The amendment maintains the existing per diem rates of $62.69 for 1-3298 beds, $22.00 for 3299-3400 beds, and $15.00 for beds beyond 3,400. It modifies the General Staffing Plan by converting Licensed Substance Abuse Counselors to Substance Abuse Counselors (reducing from 4 to 0 FTEs) and converting Behavioral Health Specialists to Behavioral Health Technicians (increasing from 14 to 18 FTEs). The overall staffing pattern remains unchanged at 605.00 FTEs. The fee schedule provides a detailed breakdown of daily costs per inmate, including employee personal services, employer-related expenses, inmate-related services, food costs, operating expenses, insurance, and administrative fees, totaling $62.69 per inmate per day.

Instructions: On the following pages, Offerors are to provide written narratives for each cost item on the Fee

Schedule. Calculations provided via the Budget Narrative shall ultimately breakdown to the total daily costs shown on the Fee Schedule. BUDGET NARRATIVE

All expenses identified in the narrative represent GEO's best estimates for costs associated with the project.

Should some line items go over budget GEO will shift funds accordingly to cover said overages. This will not result in any additional costs to the state of Arizona. The total cost for each line item can be determined by multiplying the line item in the dally fee schedule by 3298 inmates by 365 days (1,203,770 inmate days)
