| Program Manager | Perform as a program manager (PM) on the Rapid Development Integration Facility (RDIF) support contract. Manage assigned projects/tasks with the responsibility for ensuring Contractor and sub-contractors are meeting cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements of their assigned contracts. Ensure work is performed IAW the statement of work (SOW) and that customer satisfaction criteria are met. |
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develop the teaming arrangements, pricing, staffing, and technical performance approach for task orders for the Rapid Development Integration Facility (RDIF) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. Keep the customer informed and provide timely and accurate reporting on task progress. Manage complex sub-contractor team relationships to include teaming agreements and sub-contracts. Ensure adherence to master plans and schedules as well as develop solutions to program problems. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of projects. Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction with Contractor and subcontractor team performance. Work with the Contractor proposal center in preparing task order proposals to include writing portions of the proposal. Support RDIF business development activities to include meeting with potential customers and developing and presenting Contractor capability briefings. Travel may be required in support of this contract.
Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, or related field required. At least 10 years experience managing aviation programs/projects required. DOD Acquisition program management experience required. Experience in the rapid prototyping of hardware components highly desirable. Experience in the U.S. Air Force special operation community highly desirable. Familiarity with CAD software and the ability to understand technical drawings desirable. Must be highly qualified in Microsoft Office applications. Must be familiar with current International Organization for Standardization (ISO) industry standards.

| Electrician I, II, III, IV | An Electrician performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy on all varieties of aircraft. Work involves most of the following: installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments. Must be familiar with military technical manuals, technical orders, modification work orders and blue prints. Must have ability to install prototype equipment on aircraft and make modifications to the existing electrical systems and sub systems. Coordinates with project engineer personnel throughout the project, and provide technical assistance to project engineers, contractors and factory representatives. Must perform electrical system and component repairs to a variety of aircraft, possess an in-depth knowledge of electrical component/wire materials and repair techniques. | Sheet Metal Worker I, II, III, IV | The Sheet-Metal Worker must have the ability to fabricate, assemble, and install prototype and standard equipment on a large variety of aircraft, ranging from single-engine airplanes to complex, multi-engine turbojets, and helicopters. Must be familiar with military technical manuals, technical orders, modification work orders and blue prints. Must have ability to install prototype equipment on aircraft and make modifications to the existing airframes. Coordinates with project engineer personnel throughout the project, and provide technical assistance to project engineers, contractors and factory representatives. Must perform sheet metal repairs to a variety of aircraft, possess an in-depth knowledge of sheet metal materials and repair techniques. Must use tools and equipment associated with a sheet metal shop, such as protractors, calipers, pitch gauges, crimping tools/machines, forming machines, gas and heli-arc welding machines, lathes, milling machines, saws and drilling presses. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and rudimentary drawings. | Quality Assurance Tech I, II, III, IV | The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible to assist in Quality Assurance/Evaluation Program audits and aircraft and Stores audits. The Quality Assurance Technician will maintain publications and implement revisions, reviews and monitors maintenance training requirements and maintains aircraft and maintenance paper and computer files. The Quality Assurance Technician will ensure that work performed is of the highest quality and adheres to Federal Aviation's Regulations and/or ISO Standards. The Quality Assurance Technician Candidates must have HS diploma, and an AME license or 5 years experience in the Aviation field, along with effective communication, customer service, teamwork, and organizational skills. The Quality Assurance Technician must have extensive experience in auditing processes and procedures, knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations & ISO Standards and the ability to apply the regulations/standards. Must be familiar with military technical manuals, technical orders, modification work orders and blue prints. Coordinates with project engineer and/or management personnel throughout the project, and provide technical assistance to project engineers, contractors and factory representatives. | HS or Equivalent | I - 3 Years II - 6 Years III - 7 Years IV - 10 Years |
| CNC Operator/ Machinist I, II, III, IV | Must be able to fabricate and construct mechanisms, models and instruments that fulfill engineering requirements for prototype equipment involving mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, optical and pneumatic principles. Determine necessity for special tools, dies and fixtures required to accomplish intricate machining and assembly operations and set-up and operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines (Machining Center, Lathe and Milling Machine). Knowledge of Computer Aided Machine (CAM) programming is required. Must be able to set-up and operate the full range of machine tools found in a well-equipped prototype development shop. Must be able to work from engineering design drawings and technical specifications. Must be able to maintain dimensional accuracy, to plus or minus (±) 0.0001 inches, during machining processes, through the use of measuring instruments (e.g. vernier calipers, inside/outside and depth micrometers, gage blocks, surface and height gages, and dial indicators). Must be familiar with military technical manuals, technical orders, modification work orders and blue prints. Must have ability to install prototype equipment on aircraft and make modifications to the existing systems and sub systems. Coordinates with project engineer and/or management personnel throughout the project, and provide technical assistance to project engineers, contractors and factory representatives. Must perform system and component repairs to a variety of aircraft, possess an in-depth knowledge of technical materials and repair techniques. | Welder I, II, III, IV | The welder performs fusion welding on aircraft and ground support equipment to a qualified Welding Procedures Specification (WPS), performs structural welding on aerospace parts and components per the requirements of specifications as prescribed by Engineering Drawings and Work Orders. Required to read and understand engineering drawings and welding symbols, fabricates manufactured-welded parts from engineering drawing without direct supervision. Welds a wide variety of materials such as aluminum, magnesium, alloyed and low alloy steel, stainless steel and nickel alloy steels. Required to have knowledge of the materials to select the correct filler materials and shielding gas when generating the Weld Procedure Specification (WPS), and produce flight critical welds and assist in the development process of generating Weld Procedure Specifications as mandated by welding codes and specifications. Determines the sequence of welding in order to prevent or reduce the amount of warp to the weld, designs and fabricates weld holding fixtures as necessary to perform individual welding projects, performs pre-heat and post weld stress relief operations, maintains weld records. May perform duties as a Qualified Weld Inspector by inspecting own welds and those of less qualified welders, and may perform duties such as training and re-certification in the various welding processes. High school graduate or equivalent with 2+ years experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience. Must be familiar with military technical manuals, technical orders, modification work orders and blue prints. Must have ability to install prototype equipment on aircraft and make modifications to the existing systems and sub systems. Coordinates with project engineer and/or management personnel throughout the project, and provide technical assistance to project engineers, contractors and factory representatives. | Engineer/Scientist | The Engineer/Scientist performs a variety of technical support of aircraft, materials, systems, and/or support equipment. Must be able to work from and create/produce; blueprints, drawings, layouts, reports, studies and/or other technical specifications. Must be able to do computations relating to technical requirements of equipment in areas such as; electrical, mechanical, aeronautical, metallurgical, stress, safety, software, human factors, quality and material. | Technician I, II, III, IV | A Technician performs a variety of technical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, paint and/or repair of equipment for use on all varieties of aircraft and/or support equipment.
