Question Set #4

FA86019R8017 - Cannon AFB, NM

1. What is your approved amount for pass through charges? This would apply to commercially purchased items (lift assists).

The Synopsis states-“This solicitation is subject to FAR Clause 52.219-14, “Limitations on

Subcontracting (DEVIATION 2019-O0003).” FAR Clause 52.219-14 states that, for “Supplies, (other than procurement from a non-manufacturer of such supplies), it will not pay more than 50 percent of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance, excluding the cost of materials, to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities. Any work that a similarly situated entity further subcontracts will count toward the 50 percent subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded.” “

2. What type of floor to be removed? Size? Material? (attachment 1 page 16)

The Elevated flooring to remove for the existing mobile aisles in 160 and 206 are made from either a composite or wood based material. The images in the Cover PD shows the type of flooring to be removed. The existing equipment layout AF Drawing ZCN802-05 shows you the location and size of the flooring to be removed.

3. Will there be a facility on Base for scrap/recycling?

This answered by question and Answer Set #1, previously posted on FBO

After talking to the base POC, the base does not have a recycling center. This will be discussed at the Post Award Technical Interchange meeting.

4. What is the approved color scheme of the pallet racks, mobile racks, processing counter, etc.?

No set color scheme. Contractor is to provide a list of standard colors. Coordinate with the base

POC to choose which standard color they would like.

5. How close or what is the distance from Building 160 to 206?

This answered by question and Answer Set #1, previously posted on FBO

The buildings are very close to another. Separate deliveries won’t me necessary. Advised by the base POC to deliver them to the one location. This will be discussed at the Post Award Technical Interchange meeting.

6. Where in relation to either building, where is the outside storage area?

The Outside storage area will be outside building 206. This exact location can be discussed at the Post Award conference with the base POC.

7. What is the time line for PO award and then install completion?

RFP FA860419R8017 Pages 10 – 14 State the Timelines, Post Award Conference will be at

Cannon AFB, NM. Timeline is normally within days of Contract Award, Exact date will be co-ordinated by the Engineer/Program Manager
