The Government is seeking industry input on the feasibility of a separate repair contract for these items. Please provide input for the following questions:
1. If two separate contracts are awarded for J85 MISTR component repair services, how would this impact CFM supportability?
2. Is this a feasible investment for a small business to present a proposal and allow adequate competition?
3. How does this breakout affect the competition and/or teaming arrangements for the remaining parts?
4. If the parts listed were broken out for a small business set-aside. Would you provide a proposal? If not, would you explain?
RESPONSE IS REQUIRED BY 10 FEBRUARY 2011, 1400 (2:00 pm) CENTRAL STANDARD TIME.
