Updated Answers Below are the answers. As discussed on the phone we do not want ceramic floor, A/C units or power. We want the pre-existing containers that are already fabricated with doors and windows to look more realistic. We want a 3rd world urban neighborhood.
1) How many total exterior aluminum doors are required ? 17...these doors do not have to be metal, however consider we will be kicking these doors and the elements of the island.
a) Number of 20 ft. single containers involved : _________11_______
b) Number of 44 ft. single wide containers involved : _______6_________
c) Number of 40 ft. double wide containers involved : _______0_________
2) How many total INTERIOR wooden doors are required ? we want to have two 44 footers with interior sets, ie make it look lived in with hiding spots in walls and at least three rooms. Three 20 footers with at least two rooms. Material to make the rooms must be durable, although the containers have windows and some have fans it still gets hot and humid.
d) Number of 20 ft. single containers involved : _______3_________
e) Number of 44 ft. single wide containers involved : _________2_______
f) Number of 40 ft. double wide containers involved : ________0________
3) Stair Cases - Aluminum / Stainless ? If you are worried about a completion performance period; these materials are not readily available locally; however Galvanized steel is abundantly available; can we quote an alternate using Galv. steel materials ?
Galvanized is fine.
4) Linoleum Flooring : 1st. this type of material is not readily available on Guam; 2 nd. In a non air conditioned semi sealed Conex;
linoleum will develop mold; and will become extremely slick; it will hold the humidity / moisture - because it is semi porous. Would you consider using a non skid surface texture type paint or coating ??
Sorry for the miss understanding linoleum flooring is not wanted on this project. Floors in the containers are made of wood some floors spots that are soft fix or replace for this will be fine.
