Question/Answer set 2 of 2:
14. Are request to exit buttons needed for allowing entry or exit at both entrapment locations by an entry controller? If so, where are these buttons to be located? This is mainly to be used for visitors requesting entry and/or exit. There will not be request to exit buttons. There will be a cardreader to exit in the entrapment areas.

16. For the two STC40 rated door that is to be installed. We can identify the height and width of the opening but can you identify the width of the door jamb? The wall is 7 ¼” wide at W120C, the wall is 7” wide at W116.
17. Section 3 of the SOW Entrance Area W116, the arm/disarm keypad is mentioned twice. Was the intent to have an inbound reader and an arm/disarm keypad for this location? No, once inside W116 the facility can be disarmed.
18. Section 3 of the SOW room W118, it states ‘will need to be alarmed (PIR) can arm and disarm the rest of the building’. Are you stating that the PIR needs to be controlled by the same arm/disarm keypad, or that you want another arm/disarm keypad mounted at this location to control the rest of the building? The PIR needs to be controlled by the arm/disarm keypad.

Clarifications for Question set 1 of 2
8. For the VBM, to what level of design is required for the area badges? Please elaborate question.
Clarification: is there a custom design of the badge or is the standard template (AFI 1199C) which comes with the badge manager sufficient? The badges should be blank in appearance and then be assigned to individuals. It is our understanding that the Badge Manager System is just for enrolling the individuals with the cards for access to the area.
10. For the VMS, does this need to be a system that is also on the Approved List? If so, can you provide the most recent government approved equipment list documentation? List provided.
Clarification: This states the video system needs to come from the Air Force Approved Equipment List, which there are only 3 systems listed.
· Advantor (which only integrates with Advantor systems
· VICADS® (which integrates with Vindicator and is the system deployed on SJAFB)
· Bosch Allegiant (Unknown what systems this integrates with) Question: Is the intent to procure a standalone video system with 2 cameras to monitor who is at the doors and the system will not reside on the network or integrate with any other system? The 2 cameras will not reside on the network, and will be used to monitor who is at the door.
13. SOW section 3 Description, states that the contractor is to install two (2) STC-40 rated doors at the desired locations (W116 and X136). However it reads as if we are only to ensure that door W116 has an X-10 lock, shouldn’t both of these doors have an X-10 lock? Yes, the existing door at W136 currently has a X-10 lock.
Clarification: There is 2 doors which are STC-40 rated? The lowest STC rating I can find which will work with the X-10 lock is STC-47, is that acceptable?
Yes.
