U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Dam Safety Program Technical Support

Evaluation Criteria – F15PS00234

1. (40%) Proposed key personnel qualification and specialized experience, technical competence and professional registration of project personnel.

2. (50%) Demonstrate the firm’s past performance on dam safety projects as follows:

(10%) Conducting dam safety inspections using similar format as Safety Evaluation of

Existing Dams (SEED Inspection) on dams similar to the size, complexity, and type typical of FWS dams; including identifying safety deficiencies, preparing recommendations and costs estimates.

(10%) Conducting dambreak modeling, estimating consequences, preparing inundation maps, and developing and exercising Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) for dams similar to the size, complexity, and type typical of FWS dams.

(10%) Past experience performing Potential Failure Mode Analysis and risk analysis for high and significant hazard dams similar to the size, complexity, and type typical of FWS dams.

(10%) Past performance conducting Pre-Title I, Title I and Title II services on dam similar to the size, complexity, and type typical of FWS dams.

(10%) Past experience performing Title III services including construction inspection, QA/QC program monitoring, review of shop drawings, materials testing and preparation of “as-built” plans for dams similar to the size, complexity, and type typical of FWS dams.

3. (10%) Demonstrate adequacy of resources and priority and commitment of the firm and proposed subcontractors to perform work as described in the SOW of this solicitation in the 50 states.
