Exhibit J - Appraiser Disclosure Form
This is an Appraiser Disclosure Form associated with a West Virginia state and local contract opportunity for an appraisal of a conservation easement. The form serves as a disclosure document that appraisers must complete as part of the bidding or contracting process for this appraisal project. The document establishes requirements for transparency regarding the appraiser's qualifications, independence, and potential conflicts of interest in valuing the conservation easement property. While specific details regarding project timelines, response dates, site visits, or bidder conferences are not outlined within this disclosure form itself, the form functions as a mandatory submission requirement for qualified appraisers seeking to provide valuation services for the conservation easement appraisal.
The disclosure form requires appraisers to furnish information regarding their professional credentials, licensing status, and any financial interests or relationships that could affect their objectivity in conducting the appraisal. This requirement ensures compliance with professional appraisal standards and West Virginia regulations governing appraiser conduct and independence. The form is a procedural document designed to protect the integrity of the appraisal process and ensure that only qualified, impartial appraisers are selected to evaluate the conservation easement's value for the state.
