About this file

This is a sample work order form template for the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners Construction Master Service Agreement. The document establishes the framework for issuing individual work orders under an existing master agreement for construction projects. The work order incorporates by reference multiple exhibits including the Scope of Services/Specifications, Pricing/Proposal/Fee Schedule, Drawing Plans, and Supplemental Conditions. Contractors must substantially complete assigned work within a specified number of calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date, with final completion required within an additional specified period. Failure to meet the completion schedule subjects the contractor to liquidated damages assessed at a daily rate or potential termination of the work order and master agreement for cause.

The work order specifies that the county will compensate the contractor a stated amount for satisfactory work completion, with payments made in accordance with contract documents and subject to a five percent retainage withholding. The template requires signature by both county and contractor representatives, with authorization documented by Seminole County Administrative Code Section 3.554. The related wastewater pump station repair and refurbishment project (CC-7100-26/HSM) requires qualified contractors with a minimum of eight municipal pump station projects completed within the past five years, including five rehabilitation projects and three new construction projects, with demonstrated experience across all eighteen defined scopes of work. Contractors must have been in business continuously for at least three years and are required to provide detailed project narratives demonstrating relevant experience.
