About this file

This is a Contract Data Requirements List (DD Form 1423-1) specifying a single data item requirement for a federal contract.

The contract requires submission of a Hydrostatic Test Report (Data Item No. DI-QCIC-82089) for a 42-inch non-metallic expansion joint with retaining rings. The expansion joint must be ordered per ASTM F1123-87(2024) specification and is designed for seawater applications with operating parameters of 40 psig maximum and 21 psig minimum pressure, and 105°F maximum and 60°F minimum temperature. The joint features a 42-inch inside diameter, 12-inch face-to-face flange dimension (±3/16"), and one drilled flange with 38 bolt holes at 1-5/16" diameter (±1/64") on a 47-3/4" (±5/16") bolt circle. The hydrostatic test requirement is 60 psig, and certified test data must be provided. The report must be traceable to material via unique marking and submitted with corresponding material acceptance through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) e-Business Suite rather than prior to shipment. Distribution is restricted to DoD and DoD contractors only with administration and operations access effective through 6/25/2026, with other requests referred to COMNAVSEASYSCOM. All containers must be marked per MIL-STD-129 in accordance with DLA Procurement Note C20. The document was prepared by Joseph Berbach and approved by Errnell Quebral on 6/25/2026.
