The specification details requirements for one forklift unit (Specification Number MA-24-55) under Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. OP142724. The document outlines comprehensive technical requirements including vehicle features, lift assembly specifications, accessories, instruction manuals, and warranty terms. Bidders must demonstrate compliance with all highlighted yellow line items by stating "In compliance" and providing actual specifications offered. Bidders seeking to substitute equipment must submit written requests for "or equal" substitutions with supporting documentation per the IFB document requirements.

The warranty requirements establish minimum periods for non-wearable components (12 months/2,000 hours or manufacturer's standard, whichever is greater), powertrain coverage (36 months/6,000 hours or manufacturer's standard, whichever is greater), and battery coverage (48 months or manufacturer's standard, whichever is greater), with all warranties carrying a zero dollar deductible and performed at local dealerships. Bidders must provide two complete copies of operator's manuals, two complete sets of maintenance and parts manuals, electrical schematics, and online diagnostic and monitoring capabilities. Training requirements mandate that successful bidders provide a minimum of 2 hours of operational, mechanical, and electrical maintenance training to at least 6 Metro employees by an OEM-authorized dealer or trainer within 30 days of unit acceptance, with training to be conducted at the delivery location and videotaped by Metro for additional training purposes.
