About this file
This is a Schedule of Quantities and Prices exhibit for a state and local contract opportunity. The document outlines the pricing structure and line items for goods or services to be procured, detailing specific product categories or service classifications with corresponding unit prices and estimated quantities. The exhibit provides a comprehensive breakdown of all items subject to the bid, enabling vendors to submit competitive pricing proposals based on clearly defined deliverables and volumes. The schedule serves as the basis for cost evaluation and contract award, allowing both the procuring agency and bidders to establish transparent pricing expectations and calculate total contract values based on anticipated usage or delivery requirements.
The pricing terms outlined in the schedule establish the unit costs at which items will be procured, with total contract value contingent upon actual quantities ordered throughout the contract period. The document may include provisions for price adjustments, volume discounts, or tiered pricing based on order quantities. This exhibit is essential for cost analysis and comparative evaluation of bids, ensuring that all proposals can be assessed on an equivalent basis. The structured format allows agencies to track spending against budgeted amounts and provides vendors with clear expectations regarding compensation for delivered products or services.

EXHIBIT 2
SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES INSTRUCTIONS
The Bidder shall submit its firm unit prices and lump sum prices for the Services set forth in the Bid and described in the IFB on the following form entitled SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND
PRICES.
The estimated quantities shown on the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES are based on the best information available at the time the IFB was issued, and are used for the purpose of evaluating the Bids. LACMTA does not represent, expressly or by implication, that the actual quantities used in performing the Services will equal the estimated quantities.
In the case of items for which a fixed dollar amount predetermined by LACMTA has already been entered on the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES, the dollar amount so entered shall be binding on all Bidders as the price for such item; said dollar amount shall not be revised unless LACMTA directs a Change in the Services affecting the item to which said dollar amount relates.
Unit prices, lump sum prices, and other values must be entered in the appropriate spaces provided in the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES. Unit prices must be multiplied by the estimated quantity shown and the total inserted in the "Total Price" column. The "Total Prices" must be added together in arriving at the "Total Bid Price". The Total Bid Price shall be for the completion and acceptance of all Services listed in the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES as required by the Contract.
The unit prices and lump sum prices must conform to their respective requirements and parameters as specified in the Scope of Services. They also must be inclusive of all costs for the Services specified in other Contract Documents, including the proportional costs for overhead, profit, all applicable taxes, tariffs, insurance and other expenses of the Contractor, Subcontractors, and Suppliers of all tiers.
Should any unit price be left blank, the Bid will be considered non-responsive unless the blank item can be calculated from the information available (i.e., unit price can be determined by dividing the total price by the estimated quantity).
Should any total price be left blank, the Bid may be considered non-responsive unless the blank item can be calculated from the information available (i.e., total price can be determined by multiplying the unit price by the estimated quantity).
