The specification details requirements for the supply of stake-bed trucks, which are regular chassis cab, two-wheel drive dual rear wheel vehicles with a minimum 16,000 lbs. The requested delivery timeline is within 180 days of contract effective date, with vehicle acceptance occurring 2-4 weeks after delivery pending no outstanding issues.
Warranty coverage is a critical component of this specification, requiring minimum three-year or 36,000-mile vehicle warranty, five-year or 60,000-mile powertrain warranty, and manufacturer-standard warranties for the stake bed and lift gate, all with zero deductible and local dealership service availability. Bidders located outside a 60-mile radius from Los Angeles must certify that full warranty service coverage is available through local dealers within the Los Angeles area with 24-hour response capability. All vehicles shall be delivered with four complete sets of keys per unit, original factory instruction manuals including operator and maintenance guides, and electronic versions of OEM electrical schematics. Bidders must complete the technical requirements form by stating "In compliance" for all specified line items and providing specific details for customizable components such as engine specifications, interior materials, and accessory model numbers.
