About this file
This is an Evaluation Criteria document for RFP No. DR141705 issued by Metro for the procurement of cooling and propulsion fans. The contract requires the proposer to supply 220 APS (Auxiliary Power System) cooling fans and 1,630 propulsion cooling fans over a five-year performance period. The delivery schedule mandates a minimum shipment of 36 APS fans and 288 propulsion cooling fans every six months, or an equivalent schedule subject to Metro's approval. All proposed fans must include a one-year product warranty for both APS and propulsion cooling fans as detailed in the Scope of Work.
Proposers must meet all five technical requirements to be considered for award; failure to satisfy any requirement will result in the proposal being deemed technically unacceptable and the price proposal returned unopened or electronically unread. Critical administrative requirements include notification to the Project Manager of any production delays no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled ship date in writing, as well as provision of reasonable updates on shipping timelines. Additionally, proposers must notify the Project Manager in writing 48 hours prior to shipment delivery, providing the quantity of fans being shipped, tracking or BOL number, freight carrier name, and estimated time of arrival.
