About this file

This is a registration and procedural guidance document for the City of Minneapolis eSupplier system, which serves as the platform for businesses and individuals to register before conducting business with the City. The document provides step-by-step instructions for registering in eSupplier, beginning with accessing the City of Minneapolis website and proceeding through the Bidder/Payee Registration process. The registration process requires applicants to provide identifying information including Social Security Number, EIN, or TIN; enter business name and website URL; select appropriate business type classification; and answer profile questions. Applicants must also supply their primary business address, email address, and optional additional addresses, followed by adding at least one contact with personal information and creating an eSupplier User ID for system login access.

Following contact information entry, applicants must select applicable sourcing categories to receive notifications of relevant solicitations and bids, then confirm email address accuracy and accept the Terms of Agreement before submitting their registration. After successful submission and approval by the City, applicants receive an email containing their User ID and temporary password, which they use to access eSupplier and change to a permanent password. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, contract amounts, or funding information is provided in this procedural document, as it functions solely as a registration guide rather than a solicitation or contract award notice.
