About this file

This document is an exhibit from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) providing vendor information and procedural guidance for submitting responses to solicitations through the DPS Online Bid Room system. The exhibit outlines the submission process for the Houston Grant Road Office Renovation project and emphasizes that use of the DPS Online Bid Room is optional, with electronic submissions subject to all terms and conditions specified in the solicitation package. Vendors are instructed to carefully review the complete solicitation package, including all exhibits, before submitting responses in the form and manner described. The document stresses the importance of adhering to all requirements in the solicitation package, as failure to do so may result in disqualification. Submission deadlines are strictly enforced, with late responses not accepted under any circumstances.

The DPS Online Bid Room access requires a two-step registration process: vendors must first register at the designated portal to receive login credentials, which may take up to two business days, and then use those credentials to access the system and submit responses electronically. The document provides links to vendor support resources, including a vendor user guide, frequently asked questions, tutorial videos, and contact information for technical assistance. Notably, the document disclaims responsibility for technical difficulties that may prevent successful submission through the optional online platform and states that such issues do not constitute grounds for protesting a contract award. Successful submissions through the DPS Online Bid Room receive automated confirmation through the system, with no additional receipt confirmation required.
