About this file

This is Addendum No. 2 to a solicitation issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Procurement and Contract Services for elevator maintenance services under Solicitation No. 405-26R0017289. The addendum, effective June 9, 2026, announces an additional mandatory site visit scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026. The site visit will commence at DPS Headquarters in Austin (5805 N. Lamar Boulevard, Austin, TX 78752) and continue to the DPS Training Center in Florence (810 County Road 240, Florence, TX 76527). Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this addendum prior to the bid submission deadline of June 26, 2026, through one of three methods: completing and returning three copies of the addendum with offeror information, acknowledging receipt on each copy of the offer submitted, or submitting separate written or electronic correspondence that references both the solicitation and addendum numbers. Failure to acknowledge receipt by the designated deadline may result in offer rejection.

All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged and in full force and effect. Offerors who wish to modify offers already submitted may do so via email or letter, provided the correspondence references the solicitation and addendum numbers and is received prior to the bid opening. The contract encompasses comprehensive elevator maintenance and repair services at DPS facilities in Travis and Williamson Counties for a five-year term from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2031, with pricing structured according to a mandatory pricing schedule capturing labor rates for services during normal business hours and outside normal business hours at the two designated facilities.
