About this file
This is an instruction document for completing the Emergency Professional Rate Schedule issued by the City of Detroit, Michigan for emergency residential demolition services. Respondents must submit unit rates for two primary service categories: Demolition (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, regulated and non-regulated material trucking, and disposal of asbestos-containing and construction/demolition materials) and Backfill, Grade, and Site Finalization (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, backfill material, and topfill material). All highlighted cells in the Professional Rate Schedule must be completed with dollar values corresponding to the specified unit types. Respondents should refer to the applicable Scope of Services for clarification on service types or contact the City of Detroit directly with questions.
Respondents must provide mean (average) per-unit-of-measure pricing only, with all rates expressed in single values rather than ranges. The City of Detroit will consider submissions incomplete or non-responsive if they contain rate ranges, qualifying notes or text, alternate unit types, or blank rate fields. The City reserves the right to question any submitted unit rate and request clarification within twenty-four hours. Completion and submission of the Professional Rate Schedule does not constitute acceptance by the City of Detroit of the proposed unit rates. Respondents must ensure all business and contact information is included at the top of the schedule.
