ARMED SECURITY GUARD SERVICES
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS VI
1. Upon our review of your work schedule entitle Exhibit 111. We notice there are no meal relief of any kind on any 0800x1600 tour 1600x2400 Sun, Fri, Sat 0000x0800 Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thursday tour. A total of 30 hours combine not including Supervisors. Our question is how do we fill such a major block (a total of 10950 hrs annually) are we to view this as a typographical error and are mistake. Your combine total for bid purposes is 28704?
RESPONSE: Additional hours for meals shall not be billed to the Government and meal periods are inclusive during the course of the 8 hour work schedule. Meal periods, not to exceed thirty minutes, will be covered by either the supervisor or patrol unit as necessary. There is sufficient personnel during the 8 hour tour to ensure abbreviated (30 minutes) meal reliefs and 2 personal (10 minutes) breaks without affecting coverage.
2. As stated during the walkthrough, for pricing matters the two vehicular patrols will do a total of 90 miles of patrol (45 miles each) daily?
RESPONSE: Yes, the two vehicular patrols will do a total of 90 miles of patrol (45 miles each) daily.
3. For pricing matters the vehicle prices should be a Ford Focus or a similar sedan model correct?
RESPONSE: Yes, the vehicle can be a Ford Focus or at a minimum a similar sedan model.
4. Can you please clarify whether or not bidders are required to provide a strike contingency plan with their bids, as stated on page 11 of 80?
RESPONSE: No, a strike contingency plan is not required. Paragraph H.3 STRIKE CONTINGENCY PLAN on Page 11 of the solicitation is hereby deleted.
5. Are bidders required to submit past performance with their submission or will the government request this information from the apparent low bidder?
RESPONSE: Past performance is not required at the time of bid submission. The Government will verify past performance of the lowest bidder prior to award.
