About this file

The document is a Drug-free Workplace Certification form from the School District of Manatee County, Florida, related to a Construction Management at Risk (CMR) project for High School AAA. The certification requires the contractor to establish and maintain a comprehensive drug-free workplace program with specific requirements, including publishing a statement prohibiting controlled substance activities, informing employees about drug abuse dangers, providing employees with written policy statements, and requiring employees to notify the employer of any drug-related convictions within five days.

The certification mandates that the contractor impose sanctions or require rehabilitation program participation for employees convicted of drug-related offenses, and make a good faith effort to continuously maintain a drug-free workplace. This document is part of the compliance requirements for the $140,000,000 high school construction project, which will support 2,500 student stations in the Lakewood Ranch area, with an initial phase covering 1,250 students and approximately 203,160 gross square feet of core facilities. The form must be signed by the contractor's authorized official, certifying full compliance with the outlined drug-free workplace requirements.
