About this file

This document is an insurance endorsement from the Social Service Contractors Indemnity Pool (SSCP), specifically a Primary and Noncontributory – Other Insurance Condition endorsement modifying a Commercial General Liability Coverage Form. The endorsement is standardized, with wording copyrighted by ISO Properties, Inc., and dated January 2021.

The endorsement outlines specific conditions for insurance coverage, primarily establishing that the insurance policy will be primary and will not seek contribution from other insurance policies under two specific conditions: (1) when the additional insured is a Named Insured under another insurance policy, and (2) when the insured has agreed in a written contract that this insurance will be primary and will not seek contribution from other available insurance. This endorsement effectively clarifies the hierarchy and priority of insurance coverage in situations involving multiple insurance policies.
