About this file
This is an amendment to Contract No. 09-DC-8148 issued by the Florida Department of Corrections on May 23, 2012. The amendment, designated as Amendment No. (09-DC-8148)-16, documents a contract modification involving the termination of the previous vendor, SMF Energy Corporation, effective May 20, 2012, and the re-award of the contract to Port Consolidated along with several other vendors. The contract is administered by the Florida Department of Corrections under the authority of Governor Rick Scott and Secretary Kenneth S. Tucker.
The contract covers the provision of tank wagon gasoline and diesel fuel to the Florida Department of Corrections. Under Section 7.2.1 of the original contract terms, the Department exercised its "Termination at Will" provision to cancel the agreement with SMF Energy Corporation. Following this termination, the Department re-awarded the contract to multiple vendors, with Port Consolidated receiving an award as part of this amendment. The Cost Information Sheet has been updated to reflect the new pricing and terms under the re-awarded contract. Inquiries regarding contract performance, delivery, or service issues should be directed to Jessie C. Moseley at (850) 717-3683 or moseley.jessie@mail.dc.state.fl.us.
