Amendment No. 8 to DEP Agency Term Contract No. GC863

This is Amendment No. 8 to an Agency Term Contract between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and GEOSYNTEC CONSULTANTS, INC., executed on February 17, 2014, for petroleum contamination site response action services in the South Region. The amendment modifies the Rate Schedule (Attachment D) to increase contracted pricing for services previously established under the original contract. The effective date of the rate changes is June 19, 2020, applying only to new work assignments offered on or after the Rate Change Date. All pre-existing and previously offered work assignments continue to apply the prior rate schedule.

The amendment implements rate increases across all pay items in the contract's comprehensive service offerings, including field activities, drilling and boring, well installation and abandonment, sample collection, laboratory analysis, soil source removal, debris removal and disposal, remedial action construction, system operations and maintenance, professional services, and reporting. Rate increases range from approximately 4.74% to 5.00%, with the vast majority at or near the 5% maximum permitted under contract provision 11.B.ii. The contractor submitted detailed justification for the increases, which FDEP reviewed and approved. Attachment D (Version 3.2) of the Rate Schedule comprises 27 pages detailing the revised contracted item prices for over 500 individual pay items, with pricing structures based on various units of measure including per-day, per-hour, per-foot, per-sample, per-month, and fixed pricing for specific services.
