RE: Clarification #2

Dear Everyone, The following clarifications are being provided for Macomb Community College’s RFP No. 6336 - HyFlex Classroom AV System:

1. Line item 4 shows qty 2 only one is required.

A: Our understanding is that you need 1 frame for each whiteboard. We are having 1 whiteboard that ‘wings’ out to the left and one that ‘wings’ out to the right. As a result, there are qty. 2 whiteboards, qty. 2 frames.

2. Line item #10 is listed as HDL310 but drawing and meeting stated the Nureva HDL410 was desired.

A: After inspecting and selecting a room, we decided the HDL310 would be sufficient.

3. Line item #14 is not represented on the drawing. What is this used for?

A: Confirmed, LINE ITEM #14 is no longer required.

Extron DTP T HD2 4K 230 HDMI Transmitter, loop thru (# 60-1491-12).

4. Line item #15 the Qty is equal to 2 but three are on the drawing (Drawing shows XTP version should show DTP version as stated in the RFP)

A: The correct part is Extron DTP3 R 201 - HDMI 4K/60 HDMI Rx (# 60-1869-53).

The required quantity is three (3).

5. Line Item 16 has qty 4 TLP Touch Panels, only one was on the drawing and previous addendums. Should this be qty 1.

A: Yes, 1 per room.

6. Line Item 25 I see the need for qty 3 9' cables not two listed (Monitor 1, Monitor 2, Laptop HDMI) Please verify.

A: Yes, the correct quantity is three (3) of the 9’ cables.

7. Line Item 26 shows three-foot patch cables, assuming these are for the Lan ports they seem potentially way too short. Please verify the lengths. Or if custom data cables may be made on site.

A: Line item #26 requests HDMI Cables

8. Line item 34 Fiber patch is listed as PVC (Non-Plenum) When all other in ceiling wires are plenum. Should this be Plenum Rated?

A: All cabling above ceiling in rooms with drop in tiles must be plenum even if it is not specified in the spec.

9. Do you want a price per foot for bulk wire such as Line Item 36 or do you want to buy a box of 500' or 1000'?

A: Because of the cost of this cable, we would prefer a price per foot unless we are going to use more than a couple hundred feet or so.
