About this file

This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form from the Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Administration. The document serves as a mandatory certification requirement for vendors and contractors engaging in federal contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements with state and local entities in Nevada. The form requires the undersigned to certify that no federally appropriated funds have been or will be used to influence federal officers, congressional members, or agency employees in connection with the award of federal contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements. The certification must be completed and signed by an authorized representative, with fields provided for the date, solicitation number, vendor name, and authorized signer information.

If non-federal funds have been expended for lobbying activities related to the federal transaction, the certifying party must complete and submit Standard Form-LLL, "Disclosure of Lobbying Activities," in accordance with prescribed instructions. The certification language must be included in all sub-award documents at all tiers, including subcontracts and sub-grants, with all sub-recipients required to certify and disclose accordingly. Failure to file the required certification subjects the responsible party to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each violation. This certification is imposed by Section 1352, U.S. Code, and constitutes a material representation of fact upon which reliance is placed when the transaction is executed.
