About this file
This document is a Worker Protection and Investment Certification Form issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania under Executive Order 2021-06, aimed at ensuring worker safety and legal compliance. The form requires contractors and grantees to certify adherence to thirteen specific Pennsylvania state labor and workforce safety laws, including the Construction Workplace Misclassification Act, Employment of Minors Child Labor Act, Minimum Wage Act, Prevailing Wage Act, and other critical labor regulations.
The certification mandates that contractors affirm compliance with these laws and understand potential penalties for false certification, which include contract termination and a three-year prohibition from bidding on Commonwealth contracts. Contractors must sign the document, acknowledging their understanding that any changes in compliance status must be immediately reported to the Purchasing Agency, and that providing false information is subject to legal penalties under Pennsylvania law. The form was published on February 7, 2022, and serves as a critical mechanism for ensuring labor law compliance across state-funded projects and grants.
