About this file

The document is a Bid Form for the City of Boulder Utilities Department's Traffic Control Device Installation project, specifically related to the East Boulder Ditch Fish Passage Construction Project. The bid form outlines a comprehensive scope of work for a construction project involving stream and infrastructure improvements, including site preparation, structure removal, in-stream work, and post-project restoration. The bid form provides a detailed itemized list of 20 potential work items, ranging from mobilization and construction staking to stream excavation, regrading, and path replacement, with units of measurement including lump sum (LS), linear feet (LF), cubic yards (CY), and square feet (SF).

The bid form is designed for contractors to submit unit prices for each listed item, with the understanding that the City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and adjust quantities as needed. The project is located on City of Boulder owned property east of the city, south of Baseline Road, and focuses on fish passage improvements on South Boulder Creek. The City is specifically seeking contractors with demonstrated experience in fish passage projects, irrigation infrastructure improvements, and stream enhancement work. While specific pricing details are not completed in the provided document, the form allows for comprehensive cost estimation across multiple project components, with a total bid calculation mechanism built into the spreadsheet.
