About this file

This document contains a past performance questionnaire and details of a federal contract opportunity to design and construct a parking structure at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. The past performance questionnaire is to evaluate a contractor's ability to complete the parking structure project, which will include design, pre-construction, construction, and closeout services. It will provide approximately 900-1,000 parking spaces across five levels, with one partial subterranean level, as well as a new three-bay truck dock facility and 6,000 square foot central warehouse and administrative support space. The contract opportunity notice indicates the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit proposals for the parking structure project through a two-phase design-build selection process. As a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside, only SDVOSB concerns may submit offers. The project value is between $10-20 million and the period of performance is approximately 485 calendar days from notice to proceed. Proposals are due around the end of November 2021.
