About this file
This is a Task Order Procedure document for Plumbing Vacuum System Repair and Maintenance Services issued by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) under IFB No. OP143876. The document establishes the standardized procedures that contractors must follow when executing work under task orders issued throughout the contract term. Metro's Project Manager initiates task orders by providing contractors with a detailed scope of work, required completion dates, delivery requirements, and supporting materials. Contractors must submit completed task order forms with firm fixed pricing based on unit rates established in the master contract, including a detailed breakdown of quantities and rates for each service. Upon receipt of a fully executed task order, contractors have two working days to submit a detailed work plan and schedule for Metro's review and approval. Project delivery timelines are specified within individual task orders, and task orders may be issued or revised at any time during contract performance, subject to contractor acceptance.
Contractors must provide pricing that includes labor rates, labor hours, materials costs, and other expenses, with a cost breakdown summary required to accompany invoices upon award. The task order form includes fields for the Not-to-Exceed amount, labor totals, materials, and other costs, as well as documentation of Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) commitment percentages. All task orders are subject to Metro audit following completion of services. Payment is made in accordance with the contract's payment provisions, and contractors must furnish all necessary labor and materials as described in the task order terms and conditions of the underlying contract.
