MM OH - HVAC REPAIR SPACE OPTIMIZATION & RENOVATION PNSY-43
FURNITURE SCOPE OF WORK AND SPECIFICATION
General
1. Site visit is required for dimension verification and final layout.
2. Contractor required to remove and dispose of old furniture.
3. Installation/assembly/set-up of all materials to be included.
4. All colors, finishes and/or materials to be selected by
NAVFAC from vendor’s standard color options through samples and submittals.
5. Workstations must be clean and in useable/working condition when installation is complete.
6. Items such as desks, workstations and systems furniture must include all necessary components to be structurally sound and must not be attached to the wall unless specified to be wall mounted in the contract documents.
Furniture for Workstations:
1. Typical of (13). Exact dimensions must be verified for best fit of each location.
2. Work Surface will be panel supported/cantilevered surfaces, consisting of one rectangular surface. Size to be (6’L x 2'W) at a minimum and stretched to fit the space where applicable. At a minimum, work surface to be of a high pressure wood laminate material with cable pass through.
3. Pencil drawer mounted under work surface.
4. One (4’L x 2’W) rectangular surface. At a minimum, to be of a high pressure wood laminate material with cable pass through.
5. Exceeds BIFMA Test criteria.
6. No visible crossbars
7. One (1) open shelf, approximately 36” wide (min. 36” max.
42”), secured to the wall panel.
8. Task lighting to consist of one (1) LED light strip, per overhead bin or shelf. Lighting and cords shall be secured to the underside of said shelf by heavy duty magnet, sturdy clip and/or cord tracks.
9. One (1) D/D/F with one pencil tray insert (non-work surface supported) and one (1) F/F pedestals. One (1) pedestal to have casters and padded top. Pedestal height should maximized the space under the work surface.
10. All doors and drawers to be locking and keyed alike within each workstation.
Electrical/Data/Voice for Workstations:
1. Workstation shall maintain access to wall outlets for plugging in computers and monitors.
2. Workstation will have one (1) cat6 data cable (blue) and one (1) white cat6 voice cable. Data and voice cables should be terminated at the wall jack and whips/cables to each station. Whips/cables should have minimum 3’ of slack at each station.
Break/Lunch Room 110:
1. Tables:
a. Three (3) tables dimension 3’x7’ rectangle. Sized to fit at least 8 people.
b. Material to be a high pressure wood laminate material.
2. Mobile Stackable Chairs:
a. Quantity (24), nesting/stackable chairs with arms and caster feet appropriate for the specified floor.
b. Chairs to have hard vinyl seat and back and metal frames.
3. Tall seats for perimeter seating:
a. Quantity (16)
b. Seats shall be sized at the height required to sit at the perimeter counter installed under this project.
c. Chairs to have hard vinyl seat and back with metal frames.
Multi-Purpose Office Chairs:
1. Quantity thirteen (13) multi-purpose chairs. Refer to scope of work for quantities associated with each option.
2. Chairs to have fabric seat and back and metal frames. Seat and back to be cushioned.
3. Chairs to have 5-star based caster feet appropriate for the specified floor.
4. Chairs to have adjustable arm-rests, adjustable back, and pneumatic seat height adjustment. Arm-rests to be cushioned.
5. Chair to be full swivel type with adjustable/locking tilt-back control.
6. Colors and finish to be selected by customer from vendor’s standard options.
Mobile Stackable Side Chairs:
1. Quantity fourteen (14) stackable chairs with arms and caster feet appropriate for the specified floor.
2. Chairs to have fabric seat and back and metal frames. Seat and back to be cushioned.
Side Tables:
1. Quantity four (4) small and one (1) large
2. Small tables to be 2’ x 3’.
3. Large table to be 3’ x 6’.
4. At a minimum, work surface to be of a high pressure wood laminate material.
5. One central metal leg/post with base/feet appropriate for specified flooring.
