About this file

This document contains preventive maintenance tasks and cycles for various types of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. It specifies the steps and frequency for routine maintenance of warm air furnaces, hot water and steam boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, fan coil units, and other systems. Tasks include inspecting and cleaning components, checking pressures and electrical connections, lubricating parts, replacing filters, and performing operational checks. The maintenance tasks are intended to ensure proper operation, detect issues requiring repair or replacement, and comply with applicable regulations, manuals, and manufacturers' recommendations.

A related federal contract opportunity solicits proposals to provide preventive maintenance and repair/replacement services for heating systems. Offerors are instructed to review the attached request for proposal and submit a priced proposal with a repair/replacement parts list and installation/removal pricing by the specified due date via the SAM website. The soliciting agency is the Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command.
